Exploring the Thumb

We drove to the tip of the thumb and worked our way down.   Caseville was perfect.  The sand was warm and the water was as cold and shallow as I remember it as a kid.  The sunsets were amazing.

have heard so much good stuff about Bay City and was anxious to see
it for myself.  The Water Street Waterfall Park was neat.  The day was perfect.  We had lunch on the water and it was fun to watch the sailboat school students learn to sail.  We spent quite a bit of time in Di's Rubber Stamp Store and I really allowed her to pick my brain.  There was an awesome Architectual Salvage Shop with three floors that we spent quite a bit of time in.  Of course I took a few pictures!

Port Austin was another spot I was anxious to revisit.  The ride along the coast was beautiful.  Point Austin waterfront is amazing.  The walk along the breakfront was fun.  I wish I would have brrought my binoculars.
