Michigan Here We Come

I will admit, I was a white knuckle passenger as we drove through Chicago.  We have been on the road for three months and have seen very little traffic.  The 80 to the 94 was packed with semi trucks going 90 miles an hour in all four lanes (or so it seemed).

I found a campground right on the St. Joseph River?  It was called Bear Cave.  We backed the RV Iinto a nice spot right along the water.  The view out our window was beautiful.
There was a beautiful fishing dock, trails for hiking, a nice waterfall, club house and pool.  The lightening bugs there were quite fascinating and we built a nice bonfire to sit around before the big rains and wind hit.  We weathered quite a storm that night.

We headed to Niles the next morning and caught up with our friends Betty and Chris Krziza.       We had a nice visit and delicious Chinese food before we headed out to Jackson,
